CAD PA SPEAKERS
We have many years of
experience with PA speakers including design , production and use of
them. Our PA speakers are also use by many DJs striving for high
audio quality.
New PA Speakers from CAD AUDIO
We have developed a new horn loaded PA
subwoofer with an 18" driver, and for a change its not made from the
old designs we think are wrong in many ways, we started from skratch
and decided what we would like a good PA sub to do and proceeded from
there, here is what we ended up with:

40 - 150 Hz freq. response

We have also developed a horn-loaded top
speaker that is very well suited for high power, medium/long throw
applications, it works great with FLH118,

With our "old" CAD 7000 horn loaded PA
system we have shown what can be achieved with a well designed horn
system, it performed very well when competing with the very top brands
in a large test held in Copenhagen and has proven to perform very well
when used for a large number of gigs and applications , large indoor
and outdoor.
We have a bunch of new small PA speakers
too, here are some;
CAD 81 : 8"/1" PA speaker, ideal
for small clubs and fixed installation, works well for vocal and
playback etc
CAD 102 : 10"/2" PA speaker, samme
applications as CAD 81.
CAD 122 : 12"/2" PA speaker, a
compact high-power speaker with 12" neodymum lf driver and 2" hf
driver. Works very well as a high power speaker for vocals and as top
cabinet in active PA setup,
CAD 81, CAD 102 and CAD 122 also wroks
very well as floor monitors, they have a flat (non peaking) frerq.
response and tight dispersion control.
They all use B&C LF and HF drivers.

CAD 121 - 12/1" PA speaker
CAD
121 is a multi purpose PA speaker, it works very well for vocal
and playback and the design makes it an ideal wedge monitor too, it
can be flown for theatre and other applications. B&C drivers used for
LF and HF.
CAD 152 PA speaker + CAD 181 Sub
CAD 152
is a high power 15/2 PA speaker, it is designed for high power PA and
playback use, it works fine alone and for PA it can be complimented
with a subwoofer as CAD 181, together they form a very good sounding
system, easy to handle and very powerfull indeed, sound quality is
very good due to well designed cabinets and crossovers and use of B&C
drivers throughout.
CAD 118 is a compact 1x18 PA subwoofer, basic specs are
700/1400W power handling, 100dB sensitivity for 1W input and 40-250HZ
freq response.
All our PA speakers are made of birch
plywood (15mm and 18mm), they are CNC machined and coated with durable
coating, grilles are metal mesh grilles with industrial paint and all
handles,conectors etc are recessed (of course) we recommend active
crossovers for high power systems, you will get very good results
using the passive crossovers in the top cabinets (like CAD 152) and
use active crossover from top cabinet to subwoofer, ask us for
recommended systems.
